About Lisa Hiller

Lisa Hiller is a private strength and conditioning coach with Masters Degrees in Exercise Physiology and Education. She is certified by the NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), an ASCA (American Swim Coaches Association) Level 2 certified swim coach and holds certifications in CrossFit Training and Postural Therapy.

Lisa obtained her Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology form the University of Miami in 1987. While living and studying in South Florida, Lisa participated in the Bud Light Sprint Series of triathlon at the very beginning of the sport.  She went to work in cardiac rehabilitation in South Florida, before heading back to her native New York to obtain a second Masters Degree in Education in 1992 from C.W. Post. Lisa became a New York State Certified Physical Education Teacher  and trained beginner athletes.  Currently, Lisa is a private strength and conditioning coach and swim coach.

Lisa has served on the USMS (U.S. Masters Swimming) National Sports Medicine and Science and Fitness Committees and coached the Long Island Masters Swim team for 5 years both in the pool and served as their dedicated dryland strength coach.

She is a founding member of Girls On The Run Nassau County (NY) and served on their Board of Directors. She has been featured in both Swimmer and MORE Magazines.
